The hotel offers brand-new and lovely modern rooms with a wardrobe. The staff is really efficient and customer-oriented, offering very good services. The comfortable and easy location right next to a dual carriageway makes it easy to get to key attractions.

It was impressive, bright and with sky light windows in the ceiling. Remote location was a plus.

Loved the place, had a really really nice stay for one night. Comforts of bright executive family king room with a balcony were fabulous. Remote location of this affordable hotel was a bonus. Was in a good area and near restaurants and bars.

The hotel is comfortable and conveniently located near restaurants, Chatsworth House, and the Christmas Market. the staff is attentive, especially during breakfast service. the rooms are brand new, well-equipped, and reasonably priced with access to leisure facilities, a balcony, and air conditioning.

Very good and friendly reception

Rooms were extremely cold and you had to turn on a separate fan heater to warm them. The air conditioner alone was not sufficient despite the 30 degree setting. Unfortunately, the bathroom could not be heated separately at all!

The location was great, and the services provided were excellent, making it a wonderful place to stay.

leisure centre

there was a busy road outside my room (back of the hotel I think) - was noisy. also - the walls must be thin as I was kept awake one night by the sound of one of my neighbors snoring!. Not the hotels fault though

For professional reasons I stayed at the Hallmark Hotel Derby Mickleover Court. The hotel has got a bit older, well visited but well maintained. The service is reasonably friendly. A typical English breakfast buffet is available that leaves nothing to be desired. For physical balance, hotel guests have the right to visit the fitness centre, swimming pool and sauna. I can recommend a stay with a clear conscience.

The location of Derby Mickleover Hotel was wonderful, with nearby pubs and bars for evening meals and easy access to Pastures Golf Club.

No pool attendant and drinks a bit expensive.

Nice large bedroom. Swimming pool/ gym area was excellent. Freindly helpful bar staff. Lovely relaxing hotel.

Smell in bedroom was awful had leave window open & had to buy air freshner to mask it, Noticed this was a complaint made by other feedbacks. Could not locate smell. Also Extremely unfriendly, unsmiling, Unhelpful reception staff. Was not given any information regarding hotel. As this is guests first port of call a welcoming smile does go a long way! Whispering together & giggling when guests past by is not acceptable (childish behaviour for front line staff) & makes one feel uncomfortable. But other than bad reception staff very nice hotel & definatly would stay again

The location here is convenient and ideal, the rooms are fully-equipped with great views, and breakfast has a relaxed atmosphere.
